Researchers at the Alberta Children’s Hospital Research Institute are now part of a Canadian study that uses rapid DNA sequencing and analysis to help diagnos complex genetic conditions. This means hope for the thousands of kids living with an undiagnosed genetic condition as their medical team will now have a more accurate insight to the genes causing these rare diseases. The testing will also help rule out known disorders and open the door to new treatment options for these kids.
